General

It's not just 5 and 6-string bass guitars that benefit from having fanned frets, which is why Ibanez' Soundgear Bass Workshop SRFF800 has them too. This model has a Black Stained finish and a scale length that goes from 34.5 to 33.5 inches. This gives the lower strings slightly more tension and makes the higher strings smoother for easier bending. Two passive BH1 Bartolini soapbar pickups combined with an active Ibanez Custom Electronics system with a 3-band EQ, mid frequency and EQ bypass switches, and potentiometers for volume and balance give you complete control over your sound. Finally, the Mono-Rail 5 bridge adds excellent tuning stability. If you’re looking for an instrument to push the boundaries of your playing, the SRFF800 will let you do just that.
