General

The wildest ideas become reality in the Ibanez Bass Workshop. Take the SRAS7 Dragon Eye Burst 7-string solidbody bass, for example, that has 4 strings that are played with frets and three that are played fretless! Each section has its own pickups, amplification, and bridge. The top three strings are amplified by means of an Aerosilk piëzo in the bridge, and the bottom four via two J-style single coils. The 3-ply top is made of 2 types of wood: poplar and ash. Rosewood was used for the frets, and eye-catching purpleheart was used for the fretless portion of the fretboard. If you're in the market for a striking electric bass that dares to push tradition aside so you can discover new musical horizons, then you're sure to appreciate this SRAS7 Dragon Eye Burst bass!
