The Soundgear Series bass guitars by Ibanez have been extremely popular for decades and with good reason. The SR300E is an affordable bass with PowerSpan Dual Coil pickups, active electronics, a 3-band EQ with cut and boost, and a 3-way power tap switch. While models in the 300 Series are known and loved for their attractive contemporary finish, SR models are renowned for their slim beautifully-shaped body and comfortably thin neck. The SR300E: High Playing Comfort & Rich Sound

The SR4 neck offers a high level of playing comfort that beginners as well as those transitioning from guitar to bass will both find easy to play. The deep rounded cutaway on the lower part of this Ibanez bass' solid body makes it easy to access all of the 24 medium frets without being detrimental to the sound. The body is made of mahogany for a full warm tone with bite and creaminess added by the 5-piece maple/rosewood neck while the robust Accu-cast B120 bridge and sealed self-lubricating machine heads ensure excellent tuning stability.

Powerspan Dual Coil & Ibanez Custom Electronics

Two PowerSpan Dual Coil pickups are responsible for delivering the sound to your amplifier. Unlike those on previous SR bass guitar models, these passive humbuckers have magnetic poles that aren't covered. This allows for slightly more definition in addition to plenty of output. The SR300E is suitable for a wide variety of music styles and the active preamp gives you even more possibilities. With the 3-band EQ, a volume potentiometer and a control that lets you blend the sound from both pickups, you've got plenty of options for customising your sound. There's also a 3-way power tap switch which lets you experience a full humbucker sound, a bright single-coil sound or a mixture of both.
