General

The Ibanez MDB3 is a Mike D'Antonio Signature-model bass guitar, made with instructions by Mike himself. The bassist of the bands Killswitch Engage and Overcast (among others) is clearly a fan of no-nonsense guitars with basic specifications. As such, the striking black body is only equipped with a volume knob and a split single-coil pickup. The fretboard is also been kept simple, with only a stylish MDB-inlay at the twelfth fret.
Mahogany and SPB-3 pickups
The neat and comfortable design of the Ibanez MDB-3 hides a very powerful sound. The strong, deep resonances of the mahogany body are perfectly transmitted to your amp by means of the SPB-3-pickup of the famous brand Seymour Duncan. This popular pickup is perfect for genres that require a rough, full, fat sound that is rich in mid tones. The bass comes with a case.

Two New Metal Machines from Ibanez

Ibanez has added two guitars to its Iron Label RG series: the RG and the RG-7. These are real metal machines but with a spalted maple top and headstock. Apart from that, they have the standard Iron Label RG features, with two EMG humbuckers, 24 jumbo frets and a neck made of maple and bubinga.
