General

The absolute king of the Grooveline bass guitar series by Ibanez is the Ibanez G106-NT, with no fewer than six strings and a beautiful brown-white finish. This series is known for its lightweight bass guitars and the balanced sound that they produce. Everything about this guitar is of the highest quality, from the hardware to the wood and from the finish to the frets.
Wood and hardware
Thanks to the alder body, the G106-NT produces a deep, varied sound. This wood type is known for its distinctive colouring and emphasis of the mid and low frequencies. Another feature of the G106-NT is a rosewood fretboard, which provides you with a comfortable playing experience as it allows you to slide your fingers along the frets with ease. The G106-NT also has a fixed neck for extra tonal stability, tuning stability and general strength.
Pickups and uniqueness
There are a lot of good pickup options out there for bass guitars, but if you want the best then there’s only one: the exceptional CAP SonicArch pickup. The Ibanez G106 sounds so great because this type of pickup provides the bass with power in the trebles and clarity in the bass. The guitar is also fitted with a special equalizer that allows you to adjust, boost or cut the low, mid and high frequencies.

Two New Metal Machines from Ibanez

Ibanez has added two guitars to its Iron Label RG series: the RG and the RG-7. These are real metal machines but with a spalted maple top and headstock. Apart from that, they have the standard Iron Label RG features, with two EMG humbuckers, 24 jumbo frets and a neck made of maple and bubinga.
