General

After many years of designing and creating prototypes, Ibanez have finally released an amazing, groovy bass guitar. Together with its siblings from the same series, this bass is one of the most comfortable guitars out there. Its materials and hardware are of the highest quality and take the sound of the bass to a whole new level. The body of this bass has an exceptionally smooth, almost impressionistic shape, and its weight is very light in order to contribute to the user-friendliness and comfort of the bass. This is a truly groovy performer.
Wood and hardware: the Ibanez G104-BBT
Thanks to the alder body of the Ibanez G104-BBT, this bass has a rather quick response, with sufficient warmth and sustain. As a result, the Brown Burst produces a somewhat 'lighter' sound than other bass guitars, giving it an excellent sound in the higher frequencies as well.
When it comes to electric guitars, proper hardware is of the essence and the same goes for this bass guitar. This bass has a fixed bridge in order to get extra sustain and a stable tuning.

The Ibanez G104 is equipped with two identical CAP-SAH4 pickups, known for their sustain and clear amplification. Another feature is the rosewood fretboard, which contributes to a comfortable playing experience. By means of the 22 frets you can enjoy a broad tonal range and thanks to the typical Ibanez cutaway, you have great access to the highest frets.

Two New Metal Machines from Ibanez

Ibanez has added two guitars to its Iron Label RG series: the RG and the RG-7. These are real metal machines but with a spalted maple top and headstock. Apart from that, they have the standard Iron Label RG features, with two EMG humbuckers, 24 jumbo frets and a neck made of maple and bubinga.
