General

The BTB7-NTF is a seven-string bass guitar, available as a highly limited edition. As this electric bass is part of the BTB series, you can count on some very high Ibanez quality. Generally, this series comprises five-string and six-string bass guitars made of the best wood types available and with components of the highest quality possible. This special edition with no fewer than seven strings is available as a highly limited edition.
Ibanez BTB7-NT: balanced, punchy and warm
The nine-part neck of the BTB7 is made of alternately maple, rosewood and walnut. This neck-through guitar has body wings made of maple which results in a warm sound with a punch. The entire guitar has a matte finish to beautifully bring out the wood types used. CAP Sonic Arch humbuckers amplify the versatile acoustic sound in a transparent manner. These Ibanez pickups, in a single-coil housing, provide a balanced sound that can be used for many different music styles.
Hardware and striking features
This BTB-7 is fitted with an active EQ with controls for the bass, middle and treble. On top of that, there's also a balance knob for the pickup mix and a master volume control. When we take a look at the hardware of this Ibanez, we can tell that it features a Neutrik locking output and a Mono Rail IV bridge with seven separate saddles. The first will make sure that your jack cable stays firmly in the output while the latter provides perfect tuning and vibration of each string. Due to the scale length of 35 inches, the low B string of the BTB7 will always sound tight. Thanks to the deep, double cutaway, you can easily reach the highest notes.
