In addition to the BTB-style looks and a matching matte finish, this 6-string electric bass guitar boasts stable stainless frets to show you're dealing with a single-minded instrument here, which has a scale length that graduates from 34.5 to 37 inches to give the fatter strings a tighter feel without cutting too much slack for the thinner strings.

The BTB806MS: Eased Playability and Firm Foundation Sound

The overall build of this Bass Workshop BTB bass not only enhances its playing comfort but helps to build a firm, punchy foundation sound. Meanwhile, the two body wings made of ash and okoume are joined by a set-in 5-piece neck made of maple and walnut, ensuring unrestricted access to all 24 frets and more sustain for your foundation sound. Plugged in, the BTB806MS offers a widely varied tonal palette, courtesy of two tweakable passive T1 double-coil pickups plus an Ibanez Custom Electronics preamp, a 3-band EQ and a special 3-way mid-frequency switch for even more sonic flexibility.
