General
The Ibanez AFB200 SRD (Sunset Red) is a type of bass guitar that's quite uncommon. This bass guitar is semi-acoustic which means that it has a hollow body. This bass has been developed specifically for guitarists who are used to a regular electric bass guitar, but are looking for a sound that resembles the sound of an acoustic one. With this guitar you'll get those deep, low frequencies of the hollow body, combined with a powerful, punchy amplification thanks to the two ACHB humbucker pickups.
An appealing hollow body
The AFB200 not only sounds great, it looks great as well. Its curved body is made of maple and has a red sunburst finish with gold-coloured hardware. It has a black pickguard, elegant volume and tone controls and a bridge and fretboard made of dark brown rosewood. Playing comfort is provided by the somewhat shorter 30-inch neck. With is beautiful, classic looks and perfect sound, this bass instrument is perfectly fit for jazz, blues and rock and roll.
