General

Built for bassists that dream of wrapping their hands around a Höfner Club Bass but lack the cash to fork out for an antique model, the Höfner Club Bass comes as close as it gets. While this Special Edition Ignition Series bass is far more affordable, it bears classic Höfner sound and classic Höfner charm. The spruce soundboard has the same curved finish and has been mounted with an authentic Höfner fretted bridge and matching trepeze tailpiece.

The Höfner Ignition SE Club Bass: The Full Spectrum of Hollowbody Sound

Outfitted with two Höfner Staple pickups - one at the neck and one at the bridge - this short-scale semi-hollow bass covers a broad spectrum of warm and round bass sound. Tame the output using the two old-school Tea Cup-style volume pots and the bass, treble and pickup selection switches. And, since the awesomely affordable Höfner Club Bass doesn't feature any sound holes, unwanted feedback is kept to an absolute minimum.
