General

Bassists are treated to legendary Gretsch sound courtesy of the Gretsch Junior Jet Bass II. The electric short-scale bears a neat single-cut body loaded with the satisfying growl of two single-coil pickups crammed into mini-humbucker housings backed up by fuss-free tone controls and a three-way pickup switch. Since rosewood is now a protected species, Gretsch have selected the closest alternative and fitted the G2220 bass with a walnut fretboard, which enhances the sound with natural warmth and adds a light boost to the sonic definition.

The Grestch G2220 Electromatic Junior Jet Bass II: Solid & Light

Compared to most single-cut basses, the basswood body of the Jet has a comfy, lightweight feel that's balanced out by the bolt-on maple neck and the nimble playability of a 12 inch fretboard radius and shorter 30.3 inch scale length. The mid-range rich acoustic foundation is captured with full and round warmth by the two pickups, which inject just enough definition, and a clean and articulate output, free of any unwanted buzz and hum.

Gretsch G2220 Electromatic Junior Jet Bass II Imperial Stain Short-Scale Electric Bass Guitar
Wrote the following about Gretsch G2220 Electromatic Junior Jet Bass II Imperial Stain Short-Scale Electric Bass Guitar
Top!
