General

Bassists get to enjoy that great Gretsch sound in the form of the G2220B Junior Jet Bass II. This short-scale electric bass guitar has a single-cut body, a pair of mini humbuckers, volume and tone controls, and a 3-way pickup switch. Due to the protected status of rosewood, the G2220B has a fretboard made of walnut which is not only similar in appearance to rosewood, but adds warmth and a touch of extra definition to the overall sound.

The G2220B Electromatic Junior Jet Bass II: A Solidly Lightweight Short-Scale

Unlike many single-cut bass guitars, this Gretsch solid-body is surprisingly lightweight thanks to its basswood body, where the maple neck is bolted on for a construction that gives way to a pleasant growl in the mid frequencies, all while the two humbucker pickups deliver full-sounding bass to your amp with good articulation and without any undesirable noise. Thanks to its shorter 30.3-inch scale length and 12-inch fretboard radius, this Electromatic Junior promises nothing but excellent playing experiences.
