General

The Godin A4 Ultra Fretted is a unique semi-acoustic bass guitar with three outputs. The first output is for the electric pickup, the second output is for the acoustic pickup, and the third sends out a MIDI signal that can control a guitar synthesizer. When you connect a cable to the first output only, you'll get the sound from the magnetic pickup. With a cable connected to the second output only, you'll get a combination of the sounds from magnetic pickup as well as the piezo pickup. The third output always sends out a MIDI signal, but with a cable connected to this output only, it's possible to mix the sound from the other two pickups. By connecting cables to all of the outputs at the same time, three different sounds can be sent to separate amplifiers! We told you it was unique!

Godin guitars are all assembled in the Godin factories in Richmond, Quebec or Berlin, New Hampshire. The necks and bodies are all made in La Patrie, Quebec, the place where it all started for Godin.
