General

G&L Tribute series guitars are made in Indonesia by exactly the same specifications as the American versions, using the exact same parts, making sure that the Tribute L-2000 isn't any less of an instrument than its USA-made brothers. This natural-coloured electric bass guitar features a Swamp Ash body with a 21-fret bolt on maple neck with a rosewood fretboard that give it its warm, full and clear sound - perfect for every playing style and type of music.

Extensive electronics for more tonal variation

In case you were wondering 'what's with all the knobs and switches?' allow us to elaborate. This guitar is equipped with the special G&L Tri-tone circuit that allows for virtually endless tonal possibilities. In addition to a volume, a treble and a bass knob, this tone circuit comprises three mini switches. There's a three-way pickup switch that allows you to choose between the two humbuckers or use them simultaneously. Additionally, another three-position switch lets you alternate between passive and active mode, or active mode with treble boost. Moreover, there's a two-way series/parallel switch. As you can tell, the possibilities of G&L's Tribute L-2000 are virtually endless.

Magnetic Field Design pickups

Sometimes, one or more strings on a bass guitar sound louder than the others, which is why the special G&L Magnetic Field Design pickups on the L-2000 have individually adjustable magnets that allow you to change the output per string, creating the perfect overall volume balance. What's more, these pickups are incredibly quiet, eliminating the annoying hum under fluorescent lighting, for instance.

Saddle Lock bridge

The bridge of the Tribute L-2000 is a mark of true craftsmanship. It was designed to optimally transfer the vibrations of the strings to the body thanks to a small screw on its side that allows you to lock the saddles into the bridge, making them vibrate as a whole and thus greatly improve resonance and sustain.
