General

An authentic Fender Jazz Bass at such a low price? It has been made possible because the Standard series guitars are made in Mexico at lower production costs yet by the exact same specifications as their big American brothers. This electric bass guitar is equipped with classic J-Bass features such as an asymmetrical alder body with two single-coil pickups and a comfortable, extra narrow neck. Also, this version has a vintage-tinted one-piece maple neck and a classic Fender Brown Sunburst finish with a vintage-style 3-layer white pickguard.

Fender Standard Jazz Bass: The New Standard

Compared to the Precision Bass, the Jazz bass produces a clear sound with rich mids and trebles due to the two separate single-coil pickups. Its bridge pickup sounds fierce and tight, while the pickup in the neck position produces warmer tones, this makes the Jazz Bass an ideal instrument for both slapping and fingerpicking. Also, the two volume controls allow you to blend the sound of the two pickups for even more tonal variation. Whether you play funk, reggae, jazz and blues or rock and heavy metal, the Fender Standard Jazz Bass masters any style of music.

A Bass Guitar with Vintage and Modern Features

Fender combines the best of old and new in their Standard series. Both of the Jazz Bass' pickups produce a high output for a powerful sound. The recesses for the pickups and electronics have been fully shielded to prevent unwanted static and the dreaded 50Hz hum. Additionally, this bass guitar features a vintage-style bridge with four adjustable saddles and a nostalgic '70s-style Fender logo on the headstock. Its 38-millimetre narrow neck has 20 medium jumbo frets and a modern 9.5-inch radius which allow for extra low action and for even more comfort while playing.

Wrote the following about Fender Standard Jazz Bass Brown Sunburst MN
Heerlijke bas. Diep laag. Ruime controle over de sound door middel van de elementen. Ik gebruik hem zelf met Roto Sound Tru Bass 88 snaren voor een echte diepe donkere sound. De maple nek geeft mooie definitie. De bas speelt makkelijk.
