The Fender Mustang Bass PJ is the unsung hero of underground New Wave and the Alternative scene of the '90s. This particular, limited edition model, features a C-profile neck with a 30-inch scale length, a 9.5-inch fretboard radius, and a brilliantly supple feeling satin-gloss finish. Because it has a slightly shorter neck, the notes are closer together and the string tension is lower, making it a more comfortble play for those who happen not to have gigantic hands. It's also a fairly slim and manageable instrument which, if you're playing every day, will literally save your back.

Mustang Bass PJ MN: Familiar and Flexible

This Fender bass has a pau ferro fretboard, which is a little darker than rosewood and provides a sharper tone, while the ash body and maple neck shape a powerful acoustic sound alongside the undeniable versatility of the PJ pickup configuration. The tone of the combination of the mid-mounted Precision pickup and bridge-mounted Jazz Bass pickup can be adjusted and combined as needed using the 3-way switch, and using the provided tone and volume controls, the sound of the Mustang Bass PJ PF can be tweaked with Fender-grade ease.
