General

Just like the original Jazz Bass in the seventies, the Fender Japan Classic '70s Jazz Bass lends itself perfectly to innovative music styles. Equipped with a large headstock and a maple neck with a slim C profile, this progressive Japanese reissue takes you straight back to that exciting decade. This Jazz Bass's micro-tilt neck is bolted onto an ash body by means of three screws, and the instrument has been fitted with chrome hardware, a three-ply pickguard and black Jazz Bass knobs.

Fender Japan Classic '70s Jazz Bass

This electric bass guitar owes its potent, open sound to its single-coil pickups. The neck pickup provides the necessary openness, and the bridge pickup delivers a tight punch, whether your use a pick, your fingers, or slap the strings with your thumb. A light ash body and a maple neck only add to the instrument's feisty, open tone. Thanks to its high quality, ergonomic design and versatile character, the Fender Classic '70s Jazz Bass still sets the standard for many bass players.
