Wrote the following about Fender Classic Series 70s Jazz Bass Black RW

Deze 70 jazz bass heb ik 6 jaar geleden nieuw aangeschaft. De insteek was om als reissue een disco jaren70 uitvoering op de markt te brengen met de brug pickup iets meer naar achteren dan op een standard jazz bass.
Het geluid zou dan wat meer feller zijn, meer funk. Maar persoonlijk vond ik het niet zoveel verschil uitmaken. Wat mij verder nog bijstaat is de knoepert van een hals (althans het exemplaar dat ik had). Niet een boomstam zoals de oude fender precision maar toch....dik...Ik kon er met mijn kleine vingers wel over de hals flitsen maar het hapte niet echt lekker weg om maar zo te formuleren. Ook de reden waarom ik hem na 1 jaar weer inruilde.
De kwaliteit en afwerking was overigens weer wel super, ook de electronica voelde erg degelijk aan. En ja qua geluid toch weer anders dan de classic 60 model (die ik persoonlijk hoger aansla qua afwerking en mojo).
Drie sterren klinkt wat mager maar het is meer vanwege de hals die in tegenstelling tot de 60 variant (super slank) echt massief aanvoelde.
De witte binding was weer wel prachtig om te zien. Een professioneel kwaliteitsproduct hoe je het ook wendt of keert.
