The Seventies was the high point for disco and funk and one of the things that made these music styles so danceable was the bass. This Fender American Original '70s Jazz Bass is sure to inject groove into your sound! An original '70s vintage bass will set you back quite a bit these days but this version of the classic solid-body model gives you all of the same essential features at a fraction of the cost.

American Original ‘70s Jazz Bass: Authentic Look, Feel and Sound

On looks alone, this Fender bass simply oozes '70s style. For starters, the maple fretboard has pearloid position inlays set into a narrower 1975, U profile neck for a high level of playing comfort. The body is made of ash and produces a firm bass tone with clear trebles that are accurately delivered to your amplifier by two Fender Pure Vintage '75 single-coil pickups fitted with Alnico 5 magnets. All of this, in combination with the two volume and single tone controls, gives you authentic vintage bass sounds.
