That much sought after authentic 1963 sound is now available without having to remortgage the house. The Fender American Original ‘60s Precision Bass is a faithfully detailed reissue with all the classic feel and sound from the bolt-on maple 1963 C-profile neck, nitrocellulose high-gloss lacquer coating all the way up to the laminated rosewood fretboard.

The American Original ‘60s Precision Bass: Dependable '63-Style Sound

It's not for nothing that bassists like Pink Floyd's Roger Waters and Queen's John Deacon were seen toting genuine '63 P-basses. To emulate the legend, this American Original Precision has that full, low foundation sound and the clear mid-range accents that push its tone to the forefront of the mix, while a Pure Vintage ‘63 split-singlecoil, fitted with Alnico 5 magnets, authentic coil and output cables shapes that timeless '60s amplified sound.
