General

ESP/LTD and Frank Bello (bass player for Anthrax) joined forces and created Bello's dream bass. The LTD FB-4 BLKS is a stylish, satin-gloss black bass guitar with an aluminium pickguard. Its EMG PX (neck) and EMG JX (bridge) pickups take up a starring role as they produce an organic, open tone with characteristic EMG clarity and response. The PX takes care of the warmth and powerful basses, while the JX handles the mids and dynamic trebles.

The alder FB-4

There was more on Frank Bello's wish lists than great pickups alone. Bello opted for an alder body, so that the LTD FB4 would have a full, balanced base sound. The fretboard is made of ebony, which is known for its tight, direct sound. Additionally, this classic bass guitar model features a high-quality Gotoh bridge and chrome hardware. Its fretboard sports beautiful inlay position markers as well as a type number at the 12th fret.
