General

Epiphone's Thunderbird Vintage PRO bass is an accurate reissue of a true classic. The Thunderbird bass first saw the light of day in 1963 and has been used regularly on stages ever since by bands including The Who, Lynard Skynard and Cheap Trick. Just like the original '60 models, this one has a neck-through connection and the neck is made of mahogany and walnut. The body is made of mahogany too and equipped with two ProBucker Bass #760 pickups that deliver a robust sound. Other authentic details including the 12-inch fretboard radius and rounded neck profile give this Epiphone Thunderbird a familiar feel too.
