The 22" Sabian HHX Complex Thin ride offers plenty of playing surface alongside a surprisingly subtle sound. This larger-than-average cymbal shapes a clean and clear stick definition and a nicely subtle, dark wash. Crash the edge, and you get a more solid response when an accent needs to pack more punch. The bell, meanwhile, has a definitely present but thankfully modest 'ping' to it and completes an adaptable and undeniably complex ride.
