The 21-inches of the Sabian HHX Complex Medium ride shape a genuinely, awesomely complex sound with punching power. The super-defined strike is followed by a intricately deep wash while the bell sounds tight, solid, and dark. Every hit is both clear and layered so that every detail of busier patterns is given distinct presence, while the raw finish of the bell adds a nice touch of shade to the tonality overall.
