General

Meinl's Mb20 series was designed to cater to the wishes of the rock drummers amongst us. The Mb20-20HR-B is a Heavy Ride cymbal, that certainly deserves its place in this series. All cymbals in the series are made of B20 bronze, that consists of 80% copper and 20% tin. This particular model is extra heavy and polished to a shine to give it a brilliant finish. Furthermore, it was hand-hammered with the greatest care so that you are assured of a vibrant tone.

All this resulted in a sound that is nothing to be embarrassed about, and enough volume to get by on virtually any stage. Thanks to the brilliant finish and its heavy weight, this ride has a full sound that is rich with overtones, and a dry, glassy ping. When you strike it, it produces a cutting, articulate sound, followed by a medium sustain.
