The Meinl B24FRLR Byzance Foundry Reserve 22-inch light ride cymbal is made in Turkey where it's hammered by hand. The hammering pattern lends it a dark, complex timbre with lots of undertones and a bit more wash than the regular version. Add that to the bright-and-dry stick sound and you have a ride cymbal that's versatile enough to be used in the studio and perfect for styles like jazz, fusion, funk and R&B.
