Meinl's B22FRLR 22-inch light ride cymbal from the Byzance Foundry Reserve collection is made in Turkey of B20 alloy and hammered by hand. This cymbal series has extra-deep patterns and grooves on the top and bottom that go right to the edge of the bell. This ensures a dark, complex sound with lots of undertones and a bright, dry stick sound. Compared to the standard ride cymbal, this light ride has slightly more wash. It's versatile enough to be used in the studio and perfect for styles like jazz, fusion, funk, R n' B.
