Meinl's B20FRR 20-inch ride cymbal from the Byzance Foundry Reserve collection is made in Turkey of B20 alloy and hammered by hand. The patterns and grooves on its top and bottom go right to the edge of the bell and give it a dark, complex sound with lots of undertones and a good wash. It also has a bright, dry stick sound. That makes this ride cymbal versatile enough to be used in the studio and perfect for styles like jazz, fusion, funk, R n' B.
