The Truetone (formerly Visual Sound) V3 Dual Tap Delay is a two-channel delay pedal that offers an unparalleled combination of sound, durability and adjustability. That's not even mentioning the fact that it's incredibly easy to use, and stylish to boot! Unlike almost every other manufacturer, Truetone has created a hybrid digital-analogue pedal. As a result, it offers a warm, rich sound filled with layered echoes with delays of up to 1 second.

The Truetone V3 Dual Tap Delay's perfectly synchronous channels can be used both separately and together, and you can toggle them on and off with the highly durable foot switches. Both channels offer the same controls - time division, manual delay time, repeats, level, tone and mode (manual/tap) - with the second channel having an additional modulation knob as well. This knob allows you to add a chorus-like effect to the delays. The small tone controls, meanwhile, allow you to determine the brightness of the echoes.

Delay timing

Each channel can be used either in manual mode, or in tap mode. The latter allows you to use the right foot switch to tap the desired tempo, while the manual mode has you set the delay using the manual delay time control. You can also set the time division, that will divide the delays up into triplets, eighths, dotted eighths or quarters. The V3 Dual Tap Delay offers two outputs that even allow you to separate the dry signal and the signal with the effect, if you so desire.
