General

The T-Rex Reptile 2 delay pedal is the smaller, more affordable version of the original T-Rex Replica delay. With its new Tap Tempo function, it bears an even more striking resemblance to its popular predecessor! Simply tap your foot along to the rhythm of the music and any deferment from the original tempo (set using the Repeat and Echo controls) will automatically be adjusted. You can also set the tempo manually using the Tempo button.

Reptile 2: improved Flutter

As well as Tap Tempo, the T-Rex Reptile 2 also features enhanced Flutter and an entirely new tone control. Flutter adds vibrating high tones to the delay, similar to what you might hear on old tape recordings. For an even more convincing vintage sound, turn the highest frequencies down by means of the Tone control. Besides all these improvements, the Reptile 2 simply offers a great effect at an even better price.

makkelijke 9V voeding altijd handig.

NAMM 2016: Maintenance-Free Tape-Echo by Dunlop

Wednesday 20 January 2016 By Lizanne

Lots of guitarists out there would love to experiment with an old-school tape echo. You know, those warm, analogue 60s-70s delays, brought about by a tape recorder with all sorts of fascinating controls. Unfortunately, there are no free rides in this world. The price of a (secondhand) tape recorder, if you can find one, is often astronomical, not to mention the costs of the cartridges and maintenance. So, Dunlop launched the EP103 Echoplex.
