With the Chrono Delay DLY-4, Providence serve up the best of two worlds in one stompbox, so you're treated to a delay sound that begins and ends in analogue warmth but has all the perks of digital processing in between. Thanks to the stunning analogue-to-digital and then digital-to-analogue conversion, you're assured of a natural and organic wet to dry mix. For the best performance, this pedal requires a compatible 12 Volt power supply (not included).

The Providence Chrono Delay: Far-Reaching Delay

Next to a standard set of controls for dialling in the delay time and feedback level, the tone of delay trails can be darkened or lightened via the Echo Hardness pot and, via the Beat Split rotary switch, the effect can be divided to spit a rhythmic beat. With this pedal, you can even dictate the BPM and set the delay time in milliseconds while two setup modes offer maximum flexibility: in A/B mode, the footswitch on the right toggles between two saved settings and in the second setting, an external footswitch can be hooked up to serve as your tap-tempo.
