Line 6's DL4 delay modeller is equipped with some of the most legendary delay and reverb effects as well as a 14-second looper. This 4-button pedal is very durable and incredibly easy to operate. Its six knobs let you select the effect and parameters. Subsequently, you can store no fewer than three of your favourite effects and settings. Does your drummer regularly become over-zealous during a performance? Tap Tempo controls the speed of the effect.
Legendary vintage and modern delays and reverb
The Line 6 DL4 is equipped with sixteen 24-bit models based on legendary echoes and delays that range from the famous Maestro EP-1 Echoplex to the amazing TC Electronic 2290. Some effects have their own modulation effect like chorus or vibrato. A single twist of a knob allows you to use effects such as Tube Echo, Tape Echo, Analog w/Mod, Digital w/Mod, Stereo Delays, Ping Pong, Reverse and Auto-Volume.
If that wasn't enough, the DL4's Loop Sampler lets you record up to 14 seconds of loops. You can play the rhythm for your own solos, for instance, or create the most outrageous effects with the half-speed, reverse and overdub functions. Connect the optional EX1 expression pedal to morph smoothly between two effects. The double ¼-inch inputs and outputs of the Line 6 DL4 let you use stereo effects optimally.

Verder is het apparaat erg robuust en stevig. In alle jaren geen problemen mee gehad. Sowieso zelden problemen met apparatuur van Line 6.
Op sommige fora klagen mensen over een 'volume-drop'. Ik heb daar in elk geval niks van gemerkt.
De looperfunctie is ongekend gebruiksvriendelijk.
De functies van de tweak en tweez knoppen zijn soms wat onduidelijk, maar de meegeleverde sticker voor op het pedaal is prima. De handleiding is daarnaast ook heel erg duidelijk.
Het is een prijzig pedaal, maar als je bedenkt dat je daar dan een looper, digitale delay en analoge delay voor hebt, is hij eigenlijk helemaal niet zo prijzig. Ik kan hem zeker aanbevelen.
