How does the Electro Harmonix Deluxe Memory Boy work?
The level of delay can be adjusted using various controls, and a Tap function keeps the effect running in sync with your music.
By connecting an external expression pedal to the Memory Boy, you open up a new range of new options. It allows you to keep working on your sound, until you're entirely satisfied.
Classic/modern
The Memory Boy is a slimmed-down version of the earlier Memory Man series, and offers the same fantastic sound. There are various editions of the Memory Boy available, including this comprehensive Deluxe model.

Voor de true bypass is het wel essentieel om je stroomvoorziening op orde te hebben. Ik had dit pedaal eerst met een daisy chain aangesloten en toen kwam er zo af en toe wat ruis voorbij. Nu met een aparte adapter werkt het perfect.
Maar: de klank is niet wat ik zocht. Véél te donker, beduidend donkerder dan zijn klein broertje de Memory Toy en zijn vader de Memory Man DLX. Voor mij dus helaas onbruikbaar.
Plus punten:
Subtiele anaolge delay.
Instellen van de tab werkt perfect, en de Tab devide is een groot voordeel.
Verder kan je een mooi effect maken met de modulatie, chorus stijl of tremolo stijl.
De send and return is ook leuk te gebruiken met andere effecten.
De gain kan je gebruiken als een soort '' pre-amp'' wat ook een te gek geluid maakt.
Grote range aan delay tijd.
Min punten.
Niet helemaal true bypass.
Geeft een lichte ruis ( ligt ook aan welke gitaar en wat voor voeding je gebruikt).
Conclussie:
Top delay. Blijft zeker op mijn pedalboard. Rpisj kwaliteit is goed.
Een aanrader.
Fonction tap tempo et sync (croche, double croche...), rate, feedback, modulation (triangle et carré). Gain et blend indépendant.
Le son est excellent, très légèrement moins "large" et "défini" que sur son grand frère le Deluxe Memory Man (mais le prix n'est pas le même). Bref un très bon investissement que l'on ne regrette pas.
Le service bax-shop.fr est parfait, livré en moins de 48h, emballage solide et petit goodies, et de loin le prix le plus bas que j'ai vu ! Que demander de plus ?

- afwerking van de lak valt tegen
- schakelaars klikken heel hard en soms zit er ook een plop in het geluid bij het aanzetten
- de repeats gaan nogal gepaard met white noise en daar stoorde ik me aan. Ik weet dat het een analoge delay is en in zekere zin is het te verwachten, maar ik vond te overheersend. Als dit laatste punt in orde was geweest, had ik hem gehouden.
