You probably wouldn't expect such a small pedal to offers such a unique character to your sound, but it does! This reverb/delay pedal adds a light echo to the sound you play, giving it that extra bit of depth to really fill out your sound.
Combine this pedal with other Behringer pedals for a fully unique, customized signature sound!

Zo heb ik o.a. een Waldorf Rocket die op zich erg goed klinkt maar verder geen effecten heeft. Met deze DR400 dacht ik op een goekopere manier een rijkere klank te kunnen krijgen. En waarachtig bleek dat zo.
Ik heb de Earthquake Avalanche reverb/delay die vele malen duurder - en ook erg overdreven - is en die ik dan ook als maatstaf gebruik. Eh ja, veel te hoge maatstaf evenwel, maar de DR400 voegt dapper aan de Waldorf Rocket datgene toe wat ik juist nodig heb met die specifieke synth.
Voor die paar tientjes zo'n gaaf pedaaltje van het welbekende - en ook vaak bekritiseerde - Behringer, nou, daar kan niemand stuk op gaan. De DR400 klinkt vrij zuiver, echter niet al te warm, maar ach, dat compenseer ik wel met de synth. Ziet er ook sexy uit met dat zilver en die mooie knopjes.

Het mooie reverb geluid wat het geeft kan zeker tippen aan de betere merken. Ook de delay klinkt goed. Bij de delay heb je heel veel mogelijkheden, dus krijg je altijd de sound waar je naar zoekt. Ik gebruik dit pedaal vooral bij solo's van Red Hot Chili Peppers. Hiervoor klinkt hij echt te gek! Alleen een ding wat iets minder is , als je teveel reverb hebt en je zet een overdrive pedaal aan, is er een rare sustain, maar dit is op te lossen met een noise gate, of gewoon iets minder Reverb instellen.
Dus al met al een super pedaal!
Makkelijk en eenvoudig in te stellen.
Ik gebruik deze vooral voor m'n synths/drum machines (moet het nog uitproberen met m'n gitaar maar zoals ik merkte van m'n analoge synths maak ik me geen zorgen).

Verwacht daarbij niet de "warmte" van de ouderwetse analoge effecten.
Bruikbaar, want er zijn wat minpuntjes:
- het pedaaltje is niet geheel ruisvrij.
- stroomverbruik aan de hoge kant, een 9V netvoeding is geen overbodige luxe.
- lastig te verwisselen batterij, maar met een voeding is dit probleem gelijk opgelost.
Samenvattend: goed bruikbaar, maar geen topkwaliteit. Daar is overigens de prijs ook naar!
