General

The Eastwood Airline Folkstar is a black resonator guitar, designed after a model from the late fifties. Airline guitars were built and sold in the United States up to 1968 and Eastwood have now reincarnated that illustrious model in the form of this black resonator. The slender mahogany body has internal sound chambers and is notable for the Single Cone Biscuit Bridge, a classic feature for resonator guitars.

Pickup blend

The sound of the strings is amplified via an NY mini humbucker at the neck and a piezo pickup below the bridge. A blend control steplessly blends the two pickups together for the overall sound. This guitar also features a tone and volume control. The Grover-style hardware provides the visual finishing touch.
