The concept of the Philips LFH9162 is a little bizarre, but quite practical nevertheless. If you frequently need to record telephone conversations, for instance for interviews, this is just the tool you need. The LFH 9162 features an earphone with a microphone instead of a speaker, while the other end plugs into your voice recorder.
Using the Philips telephone pickup microphone
Using the LFH 9162, you can still pick up your telephone in the same way you always do. The only difference is the microphone/earphone, which is located between your ear and your telephone and perfectly registers the words of the person on the other end of the line. Thanks to the soft ear cushion, you'll hardly notice you're wearing it!
Practical options of the microphone
The microphone is equipped with a mono 3.5mm jack plug adapter, which enables you to plug it into a voice recorder. The cable of the telephone pickup microphone has a retractable construction, so you can easily adjust its length.
