The Lenco L-3808 is a versatile record player that suits the needs of any vinyl-scouring music-lover and comes with a dust cover to protect its vulnerable stylus and tone arm from any ecstatic children or excited pets running around the living room. Hook it up to a regular amplifier or set of active speakers via the line input or switch it to phono for a link-up with a mixer. Either way, there's always the possibility to digitalise your record collection by connecting the L-3808 to your computer via USB, as well as the choice between 33 and 45 RPM speed settings.

'Cheap'? Yes. 'Chinese'? Yes. 'Light'? Yes.
But performs far better than it ought to at the price!
The supplied cartridge tracks superbly well - even on hard to track records that give real problems even for more expensive equipment. Tracking is way better than my REGA P1 managed straight out of the box with the Rega Carbon! That was a big disappointment! It took radical up-grade to get it to work as it should - back to the shop and all sorts of problems.
The LENCO was A1 from the start. It sounds precise and responds surprisingly well to the lightest signal and the biggest noise a full-on orchestra produces.
Given the difficulty of finding really pristine records (esp used items!) I see very little point in spending loads of money for marginal improvements.
I'm very pleased with this item - whatever the 'Audio' 'HiFi' reviewers say with their ridiculously priced 'jewelry' and the unending up-grades - always inviting you to spend more tuntil your dissatisfied again after the next month's reviews come out!

Superblij met deze platenspeler. Bijna een kopie van de Technics SL1210, maar dan veel goedkoper! Heel fijn om de nostalgie weer te ervaren van het afspelen van een LP. Nu zie je weer dat de hoes van de LP op zich al een mooi kunstwerk is.

De Lenco L-3808 is een klasse platenspeler en doet mij denken aan mijn oude Technics SL1210. Ik ben er heel blij mee en ga langzaamaan proberen mijn platencollectie weer op te bouwen. Ik vind de platenspeler een echte aanrader en een kwaliteit die past bij een hogere prijsklasse. Dus meer waar voor je geld!

Platendraaier ongeveer een week in gebruik. Gekocht ter vervanging van een jaren 90 model platendraaier. Mooie klank. Gemakkelijk om aan te sluiten. Handig is ook de phono/line schakelaar. Zoals steeds perfecte levering. Zeer tevreden over. Aanrader!

Goede platenspeler, wordt uiteraard niet meer in Zwitserland geproduceerd maar in China, ik heb de platenspeler een week in gebruik en voldoet aan de verwachtingen die ik er van heb, blijft goed op toeren ook na enkele uren spelen, kwaliteit van het geluid is goed met de standaard element en ingebouwde phono versterker , een beter element en phono versterker kan het geluid naar een hoger niveau tillen en dit heb ik dan ook gedaan, superblij met deze platenspeler een aanrader.
