Sony has spent years developing screens and projectors, and their expertise is evident from this Sony VPL-EX235, a modern, efficient XGA projector with LCD technology. Three LCD chips deliver clear 4:3 projections with a native resolution of 1,024 by 768 pixels and a maximum input resolution of 1,600 by 1,200. Both corporate and school presentations look impressive, as the VPL-EX235 is able to handle a screen size of 30 up to 300 inches. Using the energy-efficient Low setting, the lamp will last an estimated 10,000 hours and thanks to Auto Light Dimming and Auto Lamp Mode functionality, not a drop of energy is wasted.
Sony Bright Era: illuminating technology
The three Bright Era LCD chips of this projector deliver natural, lively colours, while various Picture Modes help you to pick the right settings for each situation. The light-efficient VPL-EX235 constantly projects the three basic colours, resulting in exceptionally colourful images with a maximum clarity of 2,800 ANSI lumens - more than sufficient for conference rooms and classrooms.
Copious connecting options
The VPL-EX235 offers all the connectors you need. The projector has various inputs: two Mini D-Sub connectors, an HDMI input and an S-Video input. Additionally, a separate microphone input and two USB connectors (to host and to device) are at your disposal, as well as a LAN connector for remote control in a network. A network even allows you to operate the projector by means of the Projector Remote iOS application. If you're in a hurry to set up a connection, a single USB cable will suffice - the resulting time lag is only slight.
