General

Are you looking for a powerful widescreen projector, preferably a low-profile device with energy-saving technology under its hood? Meet the Sony VPL-EW295! It is equipped with a triple BrightEra LCD chip and a 210-watt lamp, and has a maximum light output of 3,800 ANSI lumen, which means it's up to handling sizeable classrooms or conference rooms, even if there's daylight present. This Sony projector is an excellent choice for both educational and business purposes: it really makes the most of your lessons and corporate presentations. If this VPL-EW295 won't score you that important business deal, we don't know what will.

Energy-saving technology

A modern-day projector is nothing without some energy-saving functions that don't detract from its video quality and performance. The Sony VPL-EW295 features Auto Light Dimming and Auto Lamp Mode functionality, which prolongs the life of the lamp up to no fewer than 10,000 hours. During dark presentation slides or film scenes, the projector automatically takes a step back, and after a certain period of inactivity, the lamp automatically switches off to save energy. It's always good to save on your energy bill, after all, both at home or the office. In addition to its energy-efficiency, the Sony projector offers a range of practical functions and is even equipped with a powerful built-in 16-watt speaker.

Connectors

The rear panel of the VPL-EW295 is equipped with all the connectors you need, ranging from SVGA with audio to S-Video, and from HDMI to USB. That's right, you can even transmit your audio-visual material with a simple USB cable, which means you're able to set up for your presentation or film screening in no time. Thanks to a network connector (RJ45), which allows you to control the projector from a computer or laptop in the network, the VPL-EW295 is suitable for professional applications. You can even operate the Sony projector from your iOS device, using the Sony Projector Remote app.
