Sony VPL-CX236 Projector XGA (4100 Lumens)
Product no: 9000-0017-3865 Bax Music Warranty: This product comes with a 3-year warranty.

General

Both in the office and the classroom, projectors have become a part of life, and with good reason. If you want to present something to a large group of people, sizeable and clear visuals are a real asset. The Sony VPL-CX236 projector XGA with 4100 lumens of power, is an excellent all-rounder that's also incredibly energy-efficient. It offers three operating modes, the most economical of which boasts a lamp life of approximately 5,000 hours at 240 W. That means that, even if you use the projector for five hours every day, the lamp will still last for about three years.

Characteristics of the Sony VPL-CX236 Projector XGA (4100 Lumens)

To save you from awkward moments during presenations, the VPL-CX236 has a Picture Freeze function, which allows you to freeze the frame in case you need to go hunting for a particular file or folder. Another practical feature is Image Warping, which enables you to adjust the projection corners and sides when it's not practical to aim the projector squarely at a projection screen. With a little additional help from the Lens Shift function, picture-perfect projections are guaranteed!

Other Great Features

The VPL-CX236 projector comes with a small, built-in 10 Watt mono speaker, which can be a real life-saver when your regular audio system fails. Thanks to Sony's ECO technology, the projector is exceptionally energy-efficient. If circumstances allow it, you can save energy by decreasing the clarity. In classrooms especially, projections often demand less attention than the person presenting them. With one push of the Eco Picture Mute button, you can reduce the VPL-CX236's light output, which doesn't just save power, but also keeps you from wasting time repeatedly turning the projector off and on again.
