General

The Tascam CD-RW901MKII CD recorder/player fully caters to the needs of demanding professionals. The CD-RW901MKII is the successor of the CD-RW901SL, and one of its most important new features is a TEAC tray-loading transport system. Tascam is intent on producing exceptionally reliable products and this new CD drive ensures that you'll be able to use this recorder/player for years to come without any trouble. The TEAC system also allows you to write track markers without creating gaps in your recordings.

CD-RW901MKII: Professional Audio Reproduction and Recording

The CD-RW901MKII offers a range of professional features that the simpler CD-RW900MKII model does not. Alongside the toslink and RCA connectors on the rear panel of the recorder/player, you'll also find analogue XLR inputs and outputs, as well as digital XLR (AES/EBU) and control connectors that allow you to use master controllers. The parallel port allows you to connect two or more CD-RW901MKIIs to each other so you can make continuous recordings, and other advanced functions of the Tascam recorder/player include its ability to display ISRC/RID code.

Applications

The rack-mountable CD-RW901MKII enables you to make high-grade CD recordings and to playback audio and MP3 CDs. The player/recorder is quite useful for a variety of applications - use it to record concerts, broadcasts and conferences, for instance, or to provide background music in theatres, bars, radio studios or houses of praise. The high-quality AKM codec guarantees a wide dynamic range, which means audio is recorded in astonishing detail. As Tascam strongly values reliability, a pristine audio reproduction and recording quality is ensured at all times. For additional operating ease, a wired remote control is included.
