De Yamaha Modus H01 is een digitale piano uit het topsegment van Yamaha: een contemporain design (kleur: amber glow), dat zowel doet denken aan een klavecimbel als aan moderne interieurstyling, worden gecombineerd met recente sampletechniek en 88 houten toetsen. Pianisten voelen zich thuis bij dit instrument.

Het volledig gewogen, houten klavier is van het ‘Natural Wood’-type. Het speelgevoel benadert dat van een echte vleugel, waarbij de toetsen in de lagere registers zwaarder spelen dan in de hogere. Dynamisch biedt de Modus ook veel nuances, met meerdere samples per toets. De nagalm met het demperpedaal ingedrukt en het geluid van het loslaten van een toets: ze zijn meegesampled en dragen bij aan het realisme. De zorgvuldig nagebootste piano is één van de tien presetsounds.

Topklasse

Dat de Modus H01 niet zomaar een digitale piano is, komt al via het uiterlijk naar voren, wat mijlenver verwijderd is van de traditionele, zwarte kunststof behuizing van sommige digitale modellen. De scherp gelijnde pianoklep is te sluiten, voor een opgeruimde, stijlvolle look. De techniek in de H01 is ook ‘premium’: een versterker van twee maal 40 Watt stuurt 8 speakers aan, die alle frequenties van de gesamplede instrumenten weergeven. Met een polyfonie van 64 stemmen vallen geen noten weg en kunt u zelfs stapelen met geluiden. Ook de ingebouwde songs bieden sfeer en inspiratie en uiteraard zijn via USB songs naar keuze in te laden.
