General

Many applications require compact mixers with only a few channels. No matter how simple a setup you require though, you should always expect a good, quality product, which is why the MG82CX is a logical choice for a high-quality compact mixer. This incredibly flexible mixer has 8 inputs spread over two mono and three stereo channels. Connectors on the top of the device are used with Neutrik XLR parts. Stereo channels three and four can be used as mono microphone channels. The "C" in the product name stands for the built-in compressor/limiter.

The built-in effect processor has 16 different effect presets with choices including reverb, delay, and various modulation effects. Finally, there is an extra tape input/output for connecting a tape/CD/MP3 player. Phantom voltage is accessible via the XLR input. A connection is available for your headphones with separate volume control.

Wrote the following about Yamaha MG82CX live mixer

Deze kleine mixer is precies wat je nodig hebt als je op zoek bent naar kwaliteit in combinatie met eenvoudige bediening. De aansluitingen en draaiknoppen zijn robuust en overzichtelijk geplaatst en de opdruk op de frontplaat laat niets te raden over.
Technisch gezien is deze mixer perfect voor de 'kleine klussen'. Ruisarme en neutrale microfooningangen, Low Cut, prima werkende compressors op de eerste 2 kanalen (bijvoorbeeld voor zang of spraak), fijne toonregeling en niet te vergeten een prima effectprocessor. Onderop zit zelfs een schroefaansluiting om de mixer op een microfoonstandaard te bevestigen.

Kortom, een kleine mixer met professionele mogelijkheden voor weinig geld!
