General

Voor het serieuze werk is er de MG24/14 met ingebouwde effectprocessor. 16 Mono kanalen en 4 stereo kanalen geven een totaal van 24 inputs. Per 8 kanalen is phantom power aan/uit schakelbaar. Hij is uitgerust met maarliefst 14 bussen verdeeld over 6 auxillaries en 8 subgroepen die per stereo paar naar de mainmix zijn te routen. Ook heeft elk kanaal een 3 delige toonregeling met mid-sweep en een dubbele effectprocessor. Kwaliteit van de ingebouwde dubbele processor is gelijk aan die van de SPX modules. Een extra mono uitgang heeft een regelbare frequentie om zo bijvoorbeeld extra subkasten los aan te sturen. Alle mono kanalen hebben een extra insert i/o waarmee mogelijk een compressor, equalizer of extra effectprocessor specifiek op dat kanaal is aan te sluiten. Deze MG mengtafel is een ware doorbraak op het gebied van professioneel mixen.

Wrote the following about Yamaha MG24/14FX

Geweldige mixer dit!

Ik was al geruime tijd opzoek naar een goede nieuwe live mixer, en met mijn vele eisen die ik stelde bleef eigenlijk alleen deze mixer over.
Er zijn maar weinig mixers met zoveel aansluitingen en mogelijkheden als deze, en voor deze prijs zal je er zeker weten geen andere kunnen vinden, en dat dan nog van zo'n bekend merk als Yamaha.

De mixer heeft vele extra aansluitingen zoals:
-Inserts op master en groep uitgangen
-Subwoofer uitgang met aparte volume regelaar
-Mono uitgang met aparte fader

Hiermee is deze mixer eigenlijk in elke situatie goed inzetbaar.
