With a stylish white look that reminds one of a real grand piano, Yamaha offers the Arius YDP-S51WH--a digital piano that excels in realism. Featuring 88 keys (with naturally-weighted Graded Hammer mechanics) and three pedals, this instrument offers piano players total freedom.

The technical basis lies in the Pure CF tone generation, characteristic of the Clavinova series. This promises realistic dynamic sound nuances, just like you'd get with a real piano. The 128-voice polyphony ensures that even by the most complex pieces and comprehensive pedalling, not a single note will be lost. The Duo Mode is ideal for duets or piano lessons, because it divides the keyboard in two, giving each part the same register but separate pedal control.

Instrumental technology

Thanks to the Acoustic Optimiser, the built-in speakers produce a sound that really carries. This optimizer system checks the flow of the sound waves in the instrument, creating a powerful sound that is unexpected, given the small size of the YPD-S51WH. The GH keyboard is constructed in such a way that the playing experience is just like that of a real piano. This is achieved by gradually decreasing the weight of the keys from the low to the high notes. In situations where you have to play at a low volume, the Intelligent Acoustic Control keeps your sound rich and full, where typical keyboards would lose the details. The soft-closing piano cover also contains a music stand.
