De Vox SDC-55 Trans Amber, voor de gevorderde gitarist, is in menig opzicht een opvallend instrument. In het oog springt zijn doorschijnend oranje-gele afwerking, waaronder het fraaie tijger-patroon van gevlamd esdoornhout prijkt. Kijkt u wat beter, dan ziet u twee extra 3-weg schakelaars: hiermee is elk van de stille en dynamische CoAxe pickups te schakelen van volle humbucker-sound naar rijke P90-klank naar heldere single coil. Met het resulterende scala aan mogelijke geluiden is de SDC-55 geschikt voor de meest uiteenlopende stijlen.

Dankzij de zorgvuldig gewelfde (en diep klinkende) mahoniehouten body kunt u de Vox SDC55 Trans Amber comfortabel tegen uw lichaam laten rusten. De body is voorzien van een dubbele cutaway en verlaagde hiel, wat veel ruimte biedt bij solo-spel rond de hoogste frets. Verder is de gitaar voorzien van een hoge kwaliteit MaxConnect brug. Deze zorgt er samen met de Vox Super Smooth tuners voor dat u uw instrument optimaal kunt intoneren en op stemming houdt. Ook garandeert hij een rijke, dikke klank met heldere boventonen.
