De Vox HDC-77 Koa is een bijzonder model uit de 77 Series. Op de esdoornhouten voor- en achterzijde ziet u het prachtige motief van een laag gevlamd Hawaiiaans koa-hout, wat de Koa tot de opvallendste in zijn reeks maakt. Daarnaast bezit hij de hoogwaardige eigenschappen die we van deze lijn semi-akoestische gitaren mogen verwachten. De twee CoAxe's pikken de ronde klank op van de semi-holle body en zijn los van elkaar in te stellen als single coil, P90 of humbucker. Zo heeft de jazz-, blues- of country-gitarist slechts één gitaar nodig om al zijn sounds te maken, van fel tot warm en ruig.

Een kwaliteitsinstrument moet ook na urenlange sessies nog prettig aanvoelen. Daarom kreeg de Vox HDC77 Koa niet alleen een fraai, maar bovenal uiterst comfortabel gewelfde body. Ook is er rekening gehouden met het spelen bij de hogere frets, wat te zien is aan de royale ruimte die daar gecreëerd is middels de dubbele uitsparing en de verlaagde hiel. Verder is de HDC77 een zeer betrouwbaar instrument, dat een onberispelijke intonatie garandeert dankzij de rijk resonerende hoge kwaliteit brug en de prettige Vox Super Smooth stemmechanieken. De gitaar wordt geleverd inclusief koffer.
