Do you want to jam on your guitar late at night without waking the neighbours? The VOX amPlug AC30 allows you to enjoy a fully-fledged guitar amplifier sound via your headphones. You can plug this ultra compact headphone amplifier straight into the input of your guitar. This means that you will be able to enjoy a serious guitar sound, any place, any time. If you want to play along to your favourite music, the VOX amPlug has an AUX input to which you can connect a CD or MP3 player.
The amPlug AC30 is based on the classic VOX AC30 valve amplifier. It has three little scroll wheels with which you can adjust the sound. The Gain wheel allows you to adjust the amount of distortion (from clean to giving it a crunchy edge). You can change your sound from warm and dark to clean and bright with the Tone wheel. The last wheel controls the volume.
As the battery life of the amPlug AC30 is 27 hours, you can easily take it anywhere with you. It is very handy for rehearsing at home, as well as warming up at a gig. Should you want to record your ideas, you can connect the headphones output straight to your computer or a recorder.

Het klinkt fantastisch en handiger, kleiner bestaat niet. Rustig in de zetel wat jammen zonder iemand te storen en zonder het gedoe van grote versterkers te moeten uitpakken.
Misschien dat ik de andere "klanken" ook nog wel eens aanschaf.
Overal in huis kunnen spelen, zonder gesjouw met spullen, of overlast voor je huisgenoten? Dan is dit wel de meest ideale oplossing denk ik.
Klinkt uitstekend, en is prima regelbaar. Het geluid van een echte Vox.
Het enige nadeel is dat je tijdens het gebruik niet kan zien aan welk knopje je draait, maar na wat langer spelen weet je waarschijnlijk wel welk knopje waar zit.
Aanrader!
Mooie heldere vox sound, dynamisch genoeg. Vervormd lichte crunch bij oversturen. Humbuckers meer als strat of Tele, maar wordt geen metal oid. Ook niet helemaal een ac30 volledig open, maar toch lekker rock en blues. Anders helder als een twin reverb, behoorlijk vox.
Je kunt er een fuzz(big muff is leuk) of reverb etc voor pluggen als je wilt.
Is eigenlijk niet nodig.
Bas gitaar gaat erg goed... Passief en actief prima hoor.
Concurrentie?
In zoom h4 zit een erg prima twinreverb achtige, maar te veel gedoe voor mij, en de zoom is voor opnames nodig.
Heb ook ooit een lead gekocht van een immitatiemerk,
is meer een van halen sound.
Amplug is die 20 euro meer wel waard vind ik. Alles is net een trapje beter.
Op YouTube is het geluid niet goed te vinden, het is echt een koptelefoonaanrader, dopjes zijn wat te dun.
De Amplug bevalt heel goed. Er zit helaas geen delay/reverb op. Hebben sommige andere types wel. En hoewel de Vox Amplug AC30 voor gitaar bedoelt is, klinkt mijn bas er ook heel goed op. Er zit ook een aux ingang op. Handig om je telefoon op in te pluggen en mee te jammen met je favoriete band.
De Amplug zit goed in elkaar. Je hoeft niet bang te zijn dat deze uit elkaar valt.
De leverantie was zoals beloofd binnen een dag. Het enige minpunt is dat er voor het pakje getekend moet worden. Is niet handig als je niet thuis bent. Maar dat heeft niets met Bax te maken.
Volgende keer weer Bax!
