The Thule EnRoute Escort Dark Shadow (TEED-117DG) is Thule's sturdy top-of-the-line daypack. It's great for carrying both your laptop and tablet, as well as many other things. Additionally, the EnRoute Escort features a separate padded compartment for your iPad or other tablet up to 10.1 inches in size. Other large things can be placed in the main compartment.
