De Tama SL62HZBNS-EBB is een Limited Edition-uitvoering van de Superstar Hyper-Drive. De Exotic Brown Burst-afwerking geeft de ketels van dit drumstel een unieke look binnen de Superstar-lijn. Deze 'finish' werd aangebracht middels een speciale lak-techniek, vergelijkbaar met de Volcanic Red Burst in de Starclassic Bubinga-serie. En zoals we gewend zijn van de Superstars, zien we hier fraaie zwarte ketel-hardware. Let op: slechts 6 exemplaren in de Benelux en Bax heeft er 1!

Superstar Custom Hyper-Drive: de klank centraal

Bij een Superstar-drumset staat de klank centraal: het 6-laags berkenhout van de snare en toms zorgt voor een volle, krachtige en rijke klank. Hierbij werd veel aandacht besteed aan de selectie van het hout en het vormen van de draagrand. Verder zorgen de relatief ondiepe Hyper-Drive-toms voor een verbeterde attack, snelle respons en 'punchy' geluid. De gegoten spanringen - die we ook zien bij de veel duurdere Starclassics - garanderen een kraakheldere attack en transparante, rijke hoge tonen.

De resonantie van de drums

Met de Power Craft II drumvellen klinkt uw drumstel meteen goed. De slagvellen zijn gemaakt van Dupont Mylar, voor een rijke klank en een lange levensduur. De drums van de Tama SL62HZBNS-EBB Superstar Hyper-Drive krijgen daarbij, net als hun andere Superstar-collega's, uitgebreid de gelegenheid om te resoneren. Zo geven de Star-Cast tom-bevestigingen en de 'zwevende' spanblokken de drums zeer veel trillingsvrijheid.
